The Adventures of Dooley and Me Part 5 – Texas/ Austin

Keep Austin Weird -Please!

I don’t know where to start about Austin and middle Texas. So many good people, great music, and weird things to do. Just imagine; There’s Gruene Hall, Luckenbach, Hippie Church, The Snake Farm, Wine Country, Esther’s Follies, Fredericksburg,  Austin “The live music Capitol of the world” (the best music can be found around a campfire in somebody’s back yard!)

Dooley likes it too, (well, except for the snake farm) There are water bowls, treats and dog lovers at every door step. And Dooley loves dog lovers!

A few words about some of these:

Gruene Hall: I saw Ray Wylie Hubbard there, plus several other cool people.

Luckenbach: bucket list spot for people all over the world, I’ve played in their song circle a few times. Good folks there. If you haven’t heard of Luckenbach, Look up, Waylon, Willie and the Boys…

Wine Country: Well, at least the music’s good!

The Snake Farm: Just ask Ray Wylie about it!

Next up: Lubbock: A country boy, and his dog… can survive!
